Short description of the project
Improving Demand Forecasting Education in Turbulent Times brings together the Slovak University of Technology in Trnava, Czestochowa University of Technology in Poland, and the Hungarian Mechanical Engineering Association (GTE), supported by the partners’ extensive university–industry network across the mechanical engineering sector and beyond. The partnership combines academic excellence, applied expertise, and strong industrial connections to strengthen forecasting education and support supply chain resilience in the V4 region. By actively involving industrial players, students, lecturers, and business professionals, the project develops innovative educational materials and practical tools for demand forecasting. This initiative is of particular importance for both the industrial stakeholders of the V4 countries and the future generation of professionals, ensuring that knowledge, skills, and best practices are effectively transferred to strengthen competitiveness and long-term impact in times of uncertainty.

Mellékelten találja az igény (értékesítés) előre jelzési gyakorlatot felmérő kérdőívünket. Ehhez hasonló felmérést korábban már végeztünk, így reméljük, hogy a jelenleg folyó kutatás egyfajta folyamatos képet is ki fog vetíteni.
Tehát most a sorban a harmadik felmérésnek külön jelentőséget ad, hogy eredményei beépülnek a Visegrad Fund keretében jelenleg folyó pályázatba, mely az igény előre jelzési gyakorlat vállalati képzési programjának fejlesztését célozza és három V4-es országra terjed ki.
Hozzájárulása ehhez az erőfeszítéshez kiemelkedő lehet.
Külön hálásak lennénk, ha szakmai ismeretségi körében népszerűsítené a felmérést és mások is sikeresen csatlakoznának ahhoz.
A felmérés eredményeit (benchmark is) szívesen visszacsatolnánk Önnek is, illetve külön örömünkre szolgálna, ha módja lenne a jövőben figyelemmel kísérni a projekt előrehaladását, akár az ingyenes workshopjainkhoz való csatlakozással.

Please find attached our questionnaire assessing current practices in demand (sales) forecasting. We have conducted similar surveys in the past, and we hope that this ongoing research will provide a continuous and up-to-date overview of forecasting practices.
As this is the third survey in the series, it holds particular significance: its results will be incorporated into an ongoing project funded by the Visegrad Fund, which aims to develop a training program on demand forecasting practices across three V4 countries.
