GTE is the exclusive national representative organisation of ManuFuture European Platform and is present in its High Level Group.

The mission Manufuture is to propose, develop and implement a strategy based on Research and Innovation, capable of speeding up the rate of industrial transformation to high-added-value products, processes and services, securing high-skills employment and winning a major share of world Manufacturing output in the knowledge-driven economy.

The ManuFuture National/Regional Technological Platforms (NRTPs) are created in EU member states and adopt the main strategic and development goals defined by the EPT in its main documents: ManuFuture Vision, Manufuture Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda.
